The robotics company, Parro Robotics, says it’s already testing the new vacuum for use in the home.

The consumer vacuum is a key driver of the market, said Steve Naughton, CEO of the US-based consumer goods company Kmart, which sells vacuum cleaners as well as furniture.
Kmart’s new vacuum is one of many that are available in the United States, and Naughon says the company plans to bring its model to Canada.
“If they can get that market to Canada, it will drive the industry forward,” he said.
“What we are trying with this machine is to drive down the price and bring the market up to where we want to be.”
