An electric car has been unveiled in Melbourne that is the brainchild of Winston Industries, one of Australia’s biggest auto manufacturers.
The car has a top speed of more than 100km/h, has a range of up to 1,000km, and can drive up to 200km/hour in city driving.
The winston industry parts range from a suspension unit to a brake unit.
It is manufactured at the plant in Geelong.
“Winston Industries is excited to bring this exciting electric car to Melbourne and to provide our customers with an alternative to traditional petrol and diesel vehicles,” said David Lohman, President and CEO of Winston.
Winston has always believed that the future of cars should be driven from the ground up.” “
We are proud to have created a winston with the capability of producing up to 800kW of power and to deliver an electric car capable of driving over 1,200km in city traffic.”
Winston has always believed that the future of cars should be driven from the ground up.
“The winstons chassis is made of aluminium, and is able to withstand extreme temperatures and pressures and withstand the harsh conditions in the Northern Territory.
“This means that the winsteons electric motor will generate around 30 per cent less energy than the petrol engine in the car. “
It’s a great technology, but we have also designed the winston to be highly energy efficient,” Mr Lohmans said.
The powertrain of the winstan includes a 12-volt electrical motor and a 13-volt battery. “
With an efficiency of 20 per cent, we’re not just getting the same mileage as a petrol car, we also have the same range.”

It also has a variable transmission that allows the winstein to be driven either by the front wheel or the rear wheels.
The electric motor of the car is powered by an electric motor and an electric drivetrain.
The engine produces around 4kW at 20kW peak power, and has an output of about 500kW, according to the company.
The battery is connected to the winsta with a high-voltage, lithium-ion battery.
The powerpack is made from magnesium alloy, and it can deliver up to 500kw at 20kw peak power.
“There’s also a variable torque converter, so it can be used in conjunction with the winstation to produce a range that is much greater than what is achieved by just using the standard diesel engine,” Mr Dorn said.
It will be able to reach a maximum speed of around 120km/hr and it has a claimed range of 1,500km.
“While the winsten is not a diesel, it does deliver an impressive range, and we are confident that our innovative technology will give consumers a choice that is more sustainable than the diesel fuel they are currently paying $100 per litre to buy,” Mr Gellos said.
The winning technologies are the latest of a series of technologies developed by the winsts company.
“But it is the energy storage that makes this an electric vehicle that really sets it apart.” “
The winning technology is also the first time a winstonic has been sold in Australia. “

“Our goal with this project was to create a truly innovative and compelling electric vehicle, one that could be sold to the public in Australia and potentially to the world,” Mr Gillons said.
“We’re very pleased to be able bring the winstone to market, and look forward to providing it to customers in the future.”
