NRC companies are now trying to persuade the public to get their hands on the latest in robotics technology, from autonomous cars to remote controls.
The firms have teamed up with a number of companies and manufacturers to launch a new series of online courses on how to buy robots, drones and other parts.
It is part of a drive to convince people that robotics and the technology behind them is safe and affordable, with the aim of attracting people to the UK’s burgeoning robotics sector.
This week, the BBC reported that the UK government has been working to attract the sector’s new entrepreneurs.
NRC chief executive Paul Taylor said that the robot business is “growing like crazy” and the industry needed to be kept up to date on the newest technologies.
“Robots are the future,” he said.
The UK’s robotic industry is set to grow by almost 2.5% this year, according to the British Automobile Association, which expects this to be the largest increase since the UK began manufacturing its own cars in the 1970s. “
There’s been a big push from the Government to encourage investment in the robotics industry and that’s what we’re doing.”
The UK’s robotic industry is set to grow by almost 2.5% this year, according to the British Automobile Association, which expects this to be the largest increase since the UK began manufacturing its own cars in the 1970s.
A recent study by the Oxford Economics Group estimated that by 2025, the UK robotics industry will be worth £1.5 trillion ($2.3 trillion), more than twice the amount of the UK GDP.
Robots are already being used in a range of sectors, from food production to construction to manufacturing, from the military to academia.
This new partnership with NRC is the first of its kind in the country.
“We’re really excited about the opportunity to bring robotics into the UK,” said NRC boss Paul Taylor.
“This is the most important sector of the country’s economy and it’s growing like crazy, and it needs to be looked after.”
In an interview with the BBC earlier this month, Mr Taylor said it was important for people to be able to buy and use robots that were “safe, reliable, and affordable”.
The NRC, which is the largest provider of robotics parts and accessories, said it would start offering its course in March, with an option for students to enroll online in the future.
The first batch of courses will run through to April, with more courses to follow in 2020.
The course will teach students how to “understand the basics of robotics” and “build confidence” in their ability to use robotics.
It will also help them understand the benefits of robotics in healthcare and education.
Mr Taylor explained that NRC was working with a range and variety of companies to develop the course.
The UK government is offering a £100,000 research grant to NRC to make the courses available.
“A lot of the companies we work with have come up with very high quality robotic technology that’s very useful and very safe,” he added.
“And we’ve got a lot of experience working with them.”
NRC also announced a partnership with the British Robotics and Automation Centre (BRAC), an independent organisation that promotes the use of robotics technology in the workforce.
“As we get to the end of the school year, we’re looking to introduce the new robotics courses,” said Mr Taylor.
Mr Harris said that Nrc and the robotics companies were “working together to make sure people have the knowledge they need to make informed decisions about the future of robotics”.
He said that as the robotics market expanded, it would be important to keep up with the pace of innovation.
“The UK’s robotics industry is very exciting, but it’s also the biggest industry in the world,” he told the BBC.
And we want to ensure that we keep it on top of that.””
In terms of the robotics business, the whole thing needs to get in gear.
